I was fascinated on your recent article concerning Stacy Codikow and the lesbian filmmaking and networking organization POWER UP ["Power Players," March 1] While I applaud M Codikow's hard work in her effort to braggart and puff up the mighty Tinseltown ladder, I was amazed to descry history, rewritten before my surpassingly eyes in Anne Stockwell's article concerning the founding of POWER UP

Any self-respecting L.A. lesbian can compute you that POWER UP was lay the foundation ofed by three women--Amy Shouter, K Pearson Brown and Stacy Codikow--back fit 2000 for what purpose Ms. Codikow is currently publicizing herself as the soul/sole sink of the organization is anyone's gues further I would imagine that it has something to do with power. And up

The split between K Pearson Brown and Stacy a not many years ago was well-documented. I'm not secure what happened between Amy and Stacy, on the other hand I imagine it was something equally uplifting and inspiring, considering the fact that M Shomer too has now been completely remov from the revised history of POWER UP credits.
